Super Castings (Bombay) Pvt Ltd entered foundry Industry in outskirts of Mumbai in 1982 with the aim of manufacturing Static High Alloy Steel Castings to cater to the requirement of the Steel Plants, Cement Industry, Automobile and Heat Treatment Industry.
SCPL made rapid growth to achieve full recognition in manufacturing of high quality Alloy Steel Castings which helped many of our customers as “IMPORT SUBSTITUTION”, especially in Steel Plants and Automobile Industry.
With a decade of Experience SCPL decided to diversify into area of CENTRIFUGAL CASTINGS and installed an Imported Centrifugal Casting Machine for manufacture of Tubes in the range of Tube OD (80 mm – 400 mm) and Length up to 2500 mm. SCPL then started supplying Centrifugally cast components for “STEEL PLANTS”, “SPONGE IRON PLANTS”, “HEAT TREATMENT FURNACES” and “GALVANISING PLANTS” and there was no looking back.
On 19/04/2004, SCPL received ISO 9001-2008 Certification from JAS - ANZ, which added a feather in our cap.
With the expertise in the area of manufacturing of castings for High temperature applications, customers started patronizing SCPL for all their requirements and SCPL found it necessary to install a bigger Centrifugal Casting Machine and the same was installed in 2008 which could manufacture Tubes with OD (90 mm – 800 mm) and up to 4000 mm long. With the installation of this Machine SCPL started manufacturing components for 500 TPD Sponge Iron Plants and Larger Rolls for Galvanizing Plants.
With an experience of 30 + years in the field, SCPL is confident of Manufacturing Centrifugally & Statically Cast High Alloy Steel Castings and other super Alloys for various Applications.
In house testing facility such as Spectrometer, Universal testing Machine, DP Testing, Pneumatic testing, Balancing machine and Radiography testing are an added advantage for us to ensure the highest quality of our Products by Stage-wise Quality Control Processes. Feedback from the Customer regarding our Product is of utmost importance to us so that we can improve the Quality and increase the Life of our Products.
SCPL is equipped with facilities for Metal Arc Welding and manual Tig Welding processes. Welding is carried out by qualified welders under strict quality control processes. Only imported welding consumables are used for fabrication of the assemblies. For machining purpose SCPL has got its own Lathe Machine which can help in Machining of Assemblies with Max OD 1600 mm and Max Length 4500 mm.
SCPL’s Fabrication shop strictly adheres to the customers design and specification and guarantees a high degree of engineering skill and accuracy, thus making us one of the Leading High Alloy Steel Manufacturers of our Country.
On 19 March 2016 we changed our ISO Certifying agency to TUV SUD.
